Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (CA RN License).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts, holidays, and on-call rotations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
