Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license in good standing
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required) with ACLS instructor status preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care settings
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional resilience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
