Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses and physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document all care activities and patient observations in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Current State of Arizona CNA Certification and State License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
