Job Summary
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and patients. You will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of those in our care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transferring using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals while monitoring dietary restrictions.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oregon CNA License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
