Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately.
- Document patient care plans, daily progress notes, and any changes in condition in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring and ambulating safely.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oregon State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
