Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide basic bedside care and comfort measures to patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with registered nurses and physicians regarding patient needs and updates.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Minnesota.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) upon hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong desire to help others.
