Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and families.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and physicians regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong compassion for patients and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
