Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required.
- Document patient care information in electronic health records accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to call lights and assist with mobility and transfers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification or state licensure is required (or eligibility to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the position, including standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the healthcare sector.
