Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Support nutritional needs and meal services
- Transport patients safely to appointments and activities
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
Qualifications
- Valid California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about geriatric care with empathy-driven approach
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Clear background check and negative TB test
