Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and using assistive devices as needed.
- Administer medications and document patient responses accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current, valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required by the job description.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
