Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance: Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and wheelchair positioning as needed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document care plans and daily observations in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- License: Current and valid State of California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment.
