Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Monitor Health Status: Observe and report changes in resident behavior, mood, or physical condition to the nursing staff.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Assist with Mobility: Help residents move in and out of beds, wheelchairs, or walkers, and transfer them safely using proper body mechanics.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and their families.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure open and effective communication.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train motivated candidates with a passion for helping others.
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED certification.
- CNA Certification: Current state certification as a CNA is preferred but not mandatory if you are a quick learner.
- Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for the elderly or disabled population.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
