Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition/hydration
- Document care activities accurately in resident charts
- Support mobility and transfer residents safely using proper techniques
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Participate in care planning meetings and training programs
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Kentucky CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
