Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and care documentation
- Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient needs
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Participate in care planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or acute care setting
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
