Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with patient documentation and maintain accurate medical records
- Support patient safety protocols and infection control measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal care delivery
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
