Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, surgery, or other departments safely.
- Assist with patient feeding and hydration as needed.
- Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered State of Colorado CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as required.
