Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, including walking and transferring to wheelchairs or beds.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary requirements.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
