Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate patient interaction
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical patient care tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for geriatric or long-term care preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license (if required for facility visits)
