Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or therapy sessions using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and other rehabilitative care as directed by the medical team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients to prevent infections and ensure comfort.
- Document patient care plans, incidents, and daily progress in electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living facility, or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
