Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or canes.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to RNs and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current, valid State of Colorado CNA certification (CNA-I or CNA-II).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a home health or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient dignity.
