Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans and report any changes in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document daily care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Arizona.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a professional work history.
