Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transferring patients, and using mobility aids safely.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities and shift changes accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Ohio.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
