Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient conditions accurately and timely.
- Support patients with mobility and transfer using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification (or State Tested Nursing Assistant) in Oklahoma.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
