Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Document patient care activities and changes in patient conditions accurately and timely.
  • Support patients with mobility and transfer using proper body mechanics and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Current and active CNA certification (or State Tested Nursing Assistant) in Oklahoma.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
