Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable CNA to provide high-quality care to our patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. You will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily living activities and reporting vital changes to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Assist with feeding and hydration as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team regarding patient conditions and needs.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of California.
- CPR and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
