Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic nursing care as directed by RNs and LPNs.
- Turn, position, and reposition patients to prevent bedsores.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with feeding patients who require assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA Certification (Virginia State license required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
