Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered CNA license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certificate of Completion for Nursing Assistant program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
