Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility and toileting needs.
- Report any immediate changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient living environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or home health is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect for patient dignity.
