Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and safely transfer them to beds or wheelchairs.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies with a calm and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Current and active State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Texas.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients of varying weights.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
