Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by RNs or LPNs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
- Valid state-issued ID and proof of residency.
