Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision
- Assist patients with mobility transfers using proper techniques
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments per hospital protocols
- Administer basic treatments under supervision (e.g., wound care)
- Offer emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts, 6a-6p)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
