Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and medical observations
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning to ensure safety
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate communication and companionship
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in hospital or long-term care
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Clean background check and drug screening required
