Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, resident conditions, and care activities using our electronic health records system
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Implement resident care plans under RN supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment
- Facilitate resident social engagement and recreational activities
- Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with electronic documentation systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
