Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor resident vital signs and report changes to nursing staff per facility protocols
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Document care accurately in electronic health records using point-of-care systems
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and assist with infection control measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate communication and engagement activities
Qualifications
- Current Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care or assisted living experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with electronic documentation systems
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Clear background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Availability to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) with rotating holidays
