Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately.
- Document accurate and timely patient records, including intake, output, and shift notes.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Participate in shift handovers and shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to various unit rotations.
