Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care progress
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Support patient nutrition and hydration needs
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Clean background check and TB screening
- Spanish bilingual preferred
