Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and caring CNA to provide high-quality direct patient care. You will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring their health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Provide personal care and emotional support to patients, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment by following proper infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is preferred but not required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
