Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during their healthcare journey.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (EHR).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
