Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments to ensure safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to support recovery at home.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Respond to emergencies and assist in code blue situations as required.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- NICU or Telemetry experience is a plus but not mandatory for immediate hire roles.
