Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist nurses with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation to prevent falls and injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed personnel.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification (Texas CNA License required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Clean background check and drug screen required.
