Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with mobility.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist registered nurses with treatment plans, wound care, and feeding procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient interactions and changes in condition in electronic health records (EHR) promptly.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Colorado CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate compassionately with patients of all ages.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patients with moving.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
