Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and health changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Support emotional and social well-being of patients and families
- Complete accurate documentation using electronic health records systems
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in English with clear verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
