Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates accurately.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic patient environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the medical team regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in the state of California.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to HIPAA privacy standards and patient confidentiality.
