Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to elderly residents (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) in a dignified manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
Qualifications
- Active NYS CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent nursing home experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass criminal background check and health screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays
