Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate assistance in daily activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and healthcare team to ensure patient safety
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations during night hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and infection-controlled patient environment
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
