Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, fluid intake/output, and resident observations
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and state regulations
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Safely operate medical equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs)
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid Ohio driver's license (if transporting residents)
