Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic bedside care to patients in various settings, including wards and clinics.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Assist with feeding and hydration for patients who require support.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to the nursing staff and physicians.
Qualifications
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely as required by the job.
