Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Communicate any changes in a patient’s physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and visitors.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is preferred, but we actively hire motivated individuals who are willing to obtain certification.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
