Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor resident health status and document observations accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
