Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Document patient care activities and vital signs accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA License (CNA1/CNA2) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and move for extended periods.
