- Accurately process and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotation of pharmaceutical products
- Assist patients with prescription inquiries and medication counseling
- Maintain precise records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Operate pharmacy dispensing technology and point-of-sale systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold strict HIPAA and OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification in Texas (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Proficient in prescription processing and pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer literacy
- Pass background check and drug screening
